What a match it has been between Real Madrid and Valencia today..

Defence :
Real Madrids Defence was still struggling without their main man, they always left out too many spaces in the box and couldn't clear corners well which resulted in a goal by Santi Mina.. However they managed to do well and didn't concede any goal when Valencia kept on testing them with great football. Varane and carvajal where little nervous and often left some gaps in Defence while nacho has made some crucial tackles to restrict the Valencia attack. We know Marcelo can offer more in attack then Defence and in  today's match he showed absolute brilliance with that goal. He wasnt really good this season but the last laliga games can make sure that he is back on track at the right time for real Madrid with champions league quarter final only two weeks away!
1)Keylor Navas :  8.5/10
- He couldn't come out with a clean sheet but considering the fact that match was between even sides and he made some brilliant saves when konodogbia tested him with two top shots in first half.

Midfield :
Real Madrids midfield just got better with the time in today's game. KROOS led them brilliantly and he is arguably the best man on pitch today, He created great chances and one in the second half where he set up Ronaldo was top notch. Modric was exceptional today and he kept helping out Defence made some great turns to keep the ball. Casemiro was very sloggy with loosing the ball very often and attempting dangerous tackles but he contributed by winning ball in some crucial moments in the game tonight..

Toni KROOS : 9/10
Luka modric : 8/10
Casemiro : 7.5/10

Attack : BBC started the line up after almost 280 days and they almost made real Madrid realise what was missing all these days, Ronaldo needs to work on shooting he has missed two great chances to get a hattrick especially the pass by KROOS should have find the net, In the spot from 12 yards you couldn't really doubt on him can you? He buried those two penalties and kept his team in driving spot in today's match.
Bale was good trying to keep the ball with carvajal and modric on wings and getting into gaps whenever possible, he was substituted early with keeping the important games coming ahead in the mind. Benzema lost ball on little too many occasions but he was brilliant in the second half helping out midfield and made some brilliant tackles to win the ball and he had couple of runs to attack which didn't result in goal but was really a treat to watch.
Cristiano Ronaldo : 8.5/10
Benzema : 8/10
Bale : 7.5/10

Substitutes : Asensio and Kovaicic both showed great control over game in the last few minutes and awarded themselves with a assist each.

Verdict : Thought it wasn't a convincing display from real Madrid because Valencia had some fair chances to get om score sheet but last few minutes in second half reflected the real Madrid we know from last season, with BBC back let's hope Real Madrid will be able to step up to their form.
